The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship has released its weekly fuel report for the week of Mar. 31st-Apr. 6th, 2022.
As of Wednesday, Apr. 6th, the price of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $3.85 across Iowa, according to Triple-A.
Proves fell 4 cents from last week’s price and were $1.07 higher than one year ago.
The national average on Wednesday was $4.16, down 8 cents from last week’s price.
Retail diesel prices in Iowa were down 5 cents this week with a statewide average of $4.77.
One year ago, diesel prices averaged $3.05 in Iowa.
Wholesale ethanol held steady and is currently prices at $2.16 a gallon.
