An investigation by Marshalltown Police Into a local domestic incident has resulted in the arrest of a man on a domestic abuse assault charge.

On Monday night, Marshalltown Police officers responded to a report of a domestic incident in progress at a residence in the 400 block of West Linn Street.

39 year old Erick Herrera was arrested by police & formally charged with domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury.
