Some notable improvements are now starting to take shape at the Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA.  After months of waiting for the equipment from the supplier, two new hear pumps are being installed in the Rec Pool are in the coming days.  The repairs will allow the Y to heat the water to its proper temperature of 86 degrees.

All Rec classes have been moved to the Lap Pool, which is currently 84 degrees.  One the Rec Pool is ready to reopen a notification will be sent via email and test message.

Heat pumps were ordered in November 2021, but were delayed with production and shipping.  The Y would like to thank everyone for their patience while it completes the necessary repairs.
