An Investigation by Marshalltown Police into a crime related incident has resulted in a man being arrested by police on a burglary charge.

Thirty-six-year-old Julian Estrada Jr. was arrested by Marshalltown Police early this morning on a charge of First-Degree Burglary-Possessing an Explosive or Dangerous Weapon.

The charge stems from a missing person investigation conducted by police early this morning at a residence located in the 500 block of North First Street.

A man is facing charges as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred early Sunday morning within the city limits of Marshalltown.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., Marshalltown Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving property damage at the intersection of South 6th Street and Lincoln Way.

Forty-Two-Year-Old Sanchez Guzman was arrested by Marshalltown Police on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol,
having possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failing to maintain control of his vehicle, driving with a suspended license, and failing to provide proof of financial liability.
