The Historical Society of Marshall County’s History on Third Thursday program will be presented on Thursday, April 21st at 6:30 p.m. at the Marshalltown Public Library.
This month’s program will be a presentation by Marshalltown Public Library Director Sarah Rosenblum on The Americans and the Holocaust Museum.
The Marshalltown Public Library is one of 50 U.S. libraries selected to host “Americans and the Holocaust,” a traveling exhibition from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum that examines the motives, pressures and fears that shaped Americans responses to Nazism, war and genocide in Europe during the 1930’s and 1940’s.
Those who wish to tour the exhibit are invited to arrive at 6 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
