The Marshall County Conservation Board will be holding an open prairie burn on Tuesday evening at Grimes Farm, located at 2359 233rd Street near Marshalltown.

The prairie burn is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. with the event being open to all interested participants.

Individuals taking part in the event are encouraged to dress warmly and meet at the shelter house.
