Historian Kathy Wilson of Historical Perspectives in Marion will present a program entitled “Fashions to Die For” on Wednesday, Apr. 27th at 7:00 p.m. at the Beamon Library.
“Fashions to Die For” takes a look at 18th and 19th century fashions and the deadly secrets hiding behind those fabulous looks.
Kathy Wilson established Historical Perspectives to provide research services to individuals as well as to help small historical societies and communities tackle the challenges of preserving and promoting local history.
Wilson has more than 20 years of experience as a professional historian, educator, archeologist, and museum specialist in the Midwest and Southeastern United States.
She has a B.A. in History from Bemidji State University in Minnesota, a Masters from the University of York in England, and is a former PHD candidate at the University of Iowa.
