The National Association of Letter Carriers will be sponsoring their annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive event on Saturday, May 14th.

The Marshalltown Post Office is teaming up with postal service agencies from across the United States in collecting non-perishable food items to help feed the hungry.

Bianca Aragon, a mail carrier for the Marshalltown Post Office, is among those who will be out collecting donated food items to help those in need.

According to Aragon, now is the perfect time for individuals to donate their non-perishable food items to help out those in need.

The Marshalltown Post Office collected 10,000 pounds in non-perishable food items during its last Stamp Out Hunger food drive event held in 2019.

This year they are hoping to pass that amount.
