The Marshalltown Police Department responded to a domestic incident on Wednesday morning on the city’s south side.

Shortly after 7:30 a.m., police were notified of a domestic type incident in progress in the 200 block of Glenda Drive.

Twenty-one-year-old Alesha Johnson was arrested by police and formally charged with Domestic Abuse Assault, Causing Bodily Injury.
