The Marshall County Supervisors held a special emergency session on Wednesday to re-tabulate the results of Tuesday’s Primary Election after some voting equipment jammed while the final results were being tabulated Tuesday night.

An investigation revealed that seven ballots across five precincts were counted twice due to the malfunction, but due to the overall margin of victory in each case, the outcomes of the races in question were not affected.

The ballots in question were later recounted with the entire process being completed and everything corrected by early Wednesday afternoon.
