Organizers involved with this year’s annual Marshalltown Area United Way Golf Outing say that the event was an overwhelming success.

This year’s annual golf tournament raised over $14,000 with the help of 28 partner agencies.

This year’s fundraising total exceeds last year’s amount by $2,000 and is the most ever recorded for this particular golf event.

Another noteworthy part of the event was the 50/50 raffle, which raised $2,290.
