What is being termed a suspicious death is under investigation by State and Benton County authorities.  Last Friday, Benton County deputies went to a Palo home to conduct a welfare check on Jodie Bevans, and found the woman’s body inside the home.  An autopsy is pending, and it’s not expected that additional information will be released at this time.
