Aaron Rodgers showed up at Packers training camp yesterday looking exactly like Nicolas Cage in "Con Air" . . . long hair, facial hair, wife beater, jeans and boots.  He even posted comparison pics on Instagram.

Ashley McBryde is still afraid to talk to Dolly Parton because of something she did 10 years ago.  She was new to Nashville and housesitting at Dolly's place when a microwave caught fire and almost burned the place down.

The "MTV Video Music Award" nominees were announced yesterday.  Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X, and Jack Harlow lead with seven, followed by Doja Cat and Harry Styles with six.  The ceremony will be Sunday, August 28th.  Voting is open. The VMAs are that one special day each year that Music Television gets to step outside its comfort zone and focus on music.

Jason Aldean, his wife Brittany, and their two kids recently took a little trip to Utah, and they loved it.  Brittany shared some highlights on Instagram, including their son Memphis snarling at "regular tea."  He prefers the SWEET tea they have in the South..

Vogue magazine says Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are continuing their honeymoon in France. Jennifer went viral yesterday when she was photographed wearing a pair of six inch high heels to dinner at a Peruvian restaurant. The heels were made of PVC material.  Is she doing her part for the environment?

Cole Swindell has a hit song with 'She Had Me At Heads, Carolina' no doubt but he got approval from Jo Dee Messina’s writer first!  “The original songwriters of the Jo Dee Messina song gave us their blessing. We wrote this with them and I think it’s just gonna take you back to the ‘90s…the first time you heard Jo Dee Messina’s ‘Heads Carolina, Tails California’- pretty cool to get to put our own spin on it.” Top Kix at Six here we come…

Even though he didn’t get picked up as the number one round draft pick. LeBron James' son Bronny was eventually picked up by the Lakers as the #55 overall pick in the second round of the NBA draft.  They’re the first father and son duo to be in the NBA at the same time.

Remember the story from the other day about Brendan McLaughlin at Miranda Lamberts bar?  Well, the woman who was dancing closely with him was tracked down.  She’s asked to remain anonymous but defended Brendan and said, "He was not flirty."

Michael Jackson had financial difficulties, due to extravagant spending, before his death. A report says he had over $500 million in debt when he passed. His annual debt reached $30 million from lavish spending on charity, gifts, and jewelry…and a monkey….

Alan Jackson will receive the Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement Award at the seventh annual Nashville Songwriter Awards.  The ceremony is September 24th.
