CLEAN UP IS GOING ON IN ZEARING FOLLOWING SEVERE WEATHER THAT HIT THE STORY COUNTY COMMUNITY JUST BEFORE 2 O’CLOCK THURSDAY AFTERNOON. WINDS ESTIMATED AT 70 TO 80 MILES AN HOUR CAUSED QUITE A BIT OF DAMAGE. THE ROOF WAS BLOWN OFF A CAR WASH, AND A PARK SHELTER WAS WRECKED. MAIN STREET IN ZEARING WAS CLOSED FOR A TIME DUE TO TREE LIMBS AND BRANCHES BLOWN ACROSS THE STREET. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED.
