He did it folks, 61 home runs to tie Rogers Maris for the Yankee record and the American League Record.  The MLB season Home Run Record is held by Barry Bonds with 73, Sosa and McGwire had the run in 1998 and each hit 60+ with McGwire hitting 70.  Those 3 players were all in the National League, which have their own records.  Judge is the first player post steroid era to hit 60+ home runs in a season.  Judge, who is in a contract year, could win the triple crown which is when a player leads the league in Home Runs, Batting Average, and RBIs.  Judge will get PAID this off-season, it just depends on which team will be willing to give him the money.
