NBA pre-season has tipped off starting this week. While the regular season officially starts Tuesday, October 18th, this was our first look at some of the best athletes in the world. Most of the basketball worlds focus has been on the two draft prospects who faced off this week, Victor Wembanyana and Scoot Henderson. Wembanyana or Wemby, is 7 foot 4, I have seen some places list him as tall as 7 foot 6, he can shoot the 3 ball, dribble and drive with grace, and play good defense. Some are calling him the best prospect since LeBron James. Scoot would be the best prospect in the draft if it didn’t have Wemby. Scoot is a high flying, uber athletic guard who is playing for the G-league ignite this season. These two played against one another Tuesday afternoon and they did not disappoint. Wemby had 37 points and 7/11 from 3 with 5 blocks. While Scoot had 28 points and 9 assists. The NBA season will have teams at the top competing for the championship but we will see a LOT of teams tank for what is considered the best two prospects since LeBron James in 2003.
