Big week for Marshalltown High School sports as winter seasons will start

Boys and Girls Bowling have their first meet against Des Moines North Polar Bears on Tuesday at 3:45 at Wayward Social

Boys Swimming will have their first meet vs Des Moines Lincoln on Tuesday at home starting at 5:30pm.

The season’s first High School Girls wrestling tournament happened in Central Iowa Saturday for many schools.  Nevada High School hosted an all-Girls High School wrestling tournament more than 20 schools from across central Iowa competed.  For many years, girls would compete with the boys in wrestling.  Recently there has been enough interest on the girls side that schools are starting their own team.  This will be Marshalltown’s first year with a girl’s team and the hired a girl’s wrestling coach. More tournaments/duels/meets will be happening throughout the season.
