The List for Monday, November 28th 2022

Welcome to The List,

“Rolling Stone” ranked the 100 best TV theme songs of all time.  “The Jefferson’s” is at #1, followed by a tie between “The Brady Bunch” and “Gilligan’s Island”. I’m partial to Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.

If you want to know where movie producers are going next for ideas…well, Children’s books.. NOW are the new horror stories…as we’re awaiting the release of “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey”.  Well, some of us are anyway…But there’s even MORE to look forward to after that.  The people behind that one are also working on “Bambi: The Reckoning”.  You pretty much know where this one’s going:  Bambi’s mother is killed, and he becomes a “vicious killing machine that lurks in the wilderness.” Three Blind Mice”“Rise of the Loch Ness”“Mary Had a Little Lamb”“Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare”“Jurassic Theme Park”, and, perhaps most importantly . . . “Spiders on a Plane”.

(If Samuel L. Jackson doesn’t star in this one, WE RIOT.)

Yesterday, Shania Twain released a Deluxe Edition of her 1997 smash album “Come On Over”.  There are three bonus tracks, and each one is a live duet with either Elton John, Chris Martin, or Nick Jonas.

——

Amy Grant returned to the stage for the first time since her biking accident in July.  She kicked off her Christmas tour on Saturday in Memphis.  She also thanked everyone for their “many prayers” over the last few months as her healing continues.

—–

Irene Cara, the actress and pop star who won an Oscar and a Grammy for the hit “Flashdance… What a Feeling” from the movie ‘Flashdance’ and created her own memorable screen moments with films such as ‘Sparkle’ and ‘Fame’ has died.  The cause has not been determined yet.  Irene Cara was 63.

The Dirt says Kelsea Ballerini has purchased Kacey Musgraves’ Nashville mansion for $2.5 million. The home has four bedrooms three bathrooms, a music room, an art room, hardwood floors, a guest house and a pool.

They don’t know how to be in public places."
