Majority of NFL games will be moving to Saturday this weekend. There will only be 3 games played on Sunday, which is Christmas day. Typically the NFL will take over the TV channels on Thanksgiving and NBA will take over on Christmas Day. Since Christmas is Sunday, the NFL is looking to capitalize on the weekend. As college football ends the NFL begins to spread out over the weekend, example would be last weekend when 3 games were played on Saturday. Instead of competing with the NBA for majority of their weekend games they only will show 3 games on Sunday:
Green Bay vs Miami at noon on FOX
Denver vs Rams at 3:30 on CBS
Tampa Bay vs Arizona at 7:20 on NBC
The NBA will not have any games on Saturday but will have games all day Sunday on ESPN and ABC.
76ers vs Knicks at 11am on ABC
Lakers at Mavericks at 1:30 on ABC
Bucks vs Celtics at 4pm on ABC
Memphis at Warriors at 7pm on ABC
Suns vs Nuggets at 9:30pm on ABC
