The Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown is always looking for volunteers to foster animals, especially during Kitten Season.  Rachel Buchannan from the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown, joined KFJB to tell us about fostering and kitten season.

Rachel tells us they take in the litters when they are able to, but also shares that the shelter setting isn’t ideal for kittens.  Which is where foster homes are needed

If you are interested in being a volunteer foster home you’ll need to reach out to the Animal Rescue League and they can start that process.  Foster volunteers are not only for kitten litters, but you can be a foster home for any pet they have.  More information can be found at arlmarshalltown.com
