One of the items discussed at length at Tuesdays Marshalltown School Board meeting was the use of the new Welcome Center and the classroom area.  The Welcome Center will be at the Orpheum Theater.  Here’s Dr. Schutte talking about the first class offered

The class could create videos that would be played on the new video scoreboard for the Football Stadium.  It was then questioned how kids would get to the Orpheum Theater.

Dr. Schutte mentions that these classes are predominately for Juniors and Seniors, who typically have their own transportation as well.  He mentions that transportation shouldn’t limit anyone on taking the class.
