This week is National Police Officer Week, I was able to speak with a few officers from the Marshalltown Police Department about their time serving the community.  First is Officer Andrew Weispfenning, he spent 10 years working in Des Moines before coming to Marshalltown 3 years ago.

Officer Weispfenning got his college degree in Marine Biology, not your typical law enforcement degree.

Officer Adan Ortiz just won Employee of the Year with the Marshalltown Police Department.

With less than 2 years on the force, you can tell that Officer Ortiz loves his job and community. Shout out to all the Police Officers this week
