The Emergency Food Box is located just off of first street, 107 N 1st street, in downtown Marshalltown. Cindy Staron, co-chair of the Emergency Food Box Board, stopped by the KFJB studio to let us know some foods they need.
Staron tells listeners that their numbers have been growing rapidly. They had 75 new families sign up in the month of August
The Emergency Food Box helps people with food for 3 to 5 days, and families can stop by once a month. They collect donations as long as they are open which is 1:30 – 4:30 Mon – Fri. Emergency Food Box Facebook Page
