The Marshalltown Area United Way serves 28 agencies and supports 32 programs in Marshall County this year. They will be kicking off their fundraising for the goal this year in less than 2 weeks.
That is Marshalltown Area United Way Executive Director, Kendra Sorenson. She mentions that the kickoff is open to the public and there will be food available.
This event will reveal the much-anticipated campaign video for this year featuring co-chairs Kyle Martin and Carrie Barr. The United Way will also announce the theme for this year. Come out anytime after 4:30 until the food runs out September 12th to help kickoff the United Ways campaign.
