Iowa Governor, Kim Reynolds, announced last week that the state has a surplus in multiple accounts that add up to about $5 billion. Sue Cahill, District 52 Representative in Iowa, stopped by the KFJB studio to give us more information about this surplus.
While we have a surplus, Cahill feels that there are programs that are underfunded in the state.
Cahill warns people that even though State taxes may drop in the coming years, city, school, and county levees could be on the rise.
