Last night at the Marshalltown City Council meeting, one topic was adding stop signs in different areas in Marshalltown. Last night they decided to add stop signs to High Street between 5th Ave. and 11th Ave. This prompted concerned citizen Mark Eaton to comment.
Heather Thomas, Marshalltown Public Works Director, responded to Eaton’s comments on why they made the decision to put the stop signs on high street.
Thomas does not feel like any further discussion would lead to a change in recommendation.
