Tuesday Night the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce held an Open Forum for the 2 City Council Candidate races in Marshalltown.  One of the questions asked was about support for the Water Plaza project and Destination Iowa Grant that the city received.  Here is Ward 2 Challenger Mark Mitchell.

Ward 2 Incumbent is Gabe Isom, and he had a different thought on the Water Plaza project.

The Water Plaza project was able to be funded with a Destination Iowa Grant that also includes a few other projects.  The City is only investing $500,000 into the $2 million Water Plaza.  You can watch back the entire Open Forum on KFJB-TV’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
