Iowa State Extension Field Agronomist, Meaghan Anderson, called into the KFJB studio to give an update about harvest.  Many farmers faced challenges this year and most of them would first point to the weather and lack of rain.

While majority of the Harvest is complete there are still some large farm equipment out on our roadways.  They do their best to keep to the side and get off the roads as quick as possible.

From the harvest update from the USDA this week, 77% of corn has been harvested along with 93% of the soybeans.
