After this past weekend we officially have had our first snowfall.  There was just enough snow to begin the winter care for the roads.  Paul Geilenfeldt, Marshall County Engineer, tells KFJB listeners how the county was able to use the light dusting to their advantage.

Geilenfeldt says that the County has 14 different trucks they will use to plow the roads.  Geilenfeldt plays the budget game when it comes to ordering salt for the winter.

The snowplow drivers are up early in the morning to clear the roads after snow storms so everyone else can safely get to their destination.
