The Marshalltown Area United Way supports 32 programs and 28 agencies in Marshall County.  Executive Director, Kendra Sorenson, joined the KFJB line to tell listeners where they are at in their campaign.

The campaign typically ends with the calendar year, but Sorenson mentions they may need an extra week in January to get all the packets from businesses.  Sorenson mentions that giving to non-profits seems down across the board this year.  But there has been a good trend with givers.
