Boy Scout Troop 127 out of Perry, IA stepped up in the wake of a tragedy and collected Teddy Bears and other stuffed animals for their community. Time and time again, when tragedy strikes, people find Scouts stepping up and being leaders.
That is Mid-Iowa Council Scout Executive, Matt Hill. Hill mentions that Troop 127 has a Facebook page, Perry BSA Troop 127, where they made the call for stuffed animals. It was seen across the state.
Troop 127 out of Perry, IA will still take donations of stuffed animals, they have drop off locations around their community. Hill mentions that anyone can drop off a stuffed animal at the Maytag Scoutcenter in Des Moines or at the KFJB Studio in Marshalltown.
