Last night was caucus night in Iowa and the Marshalltown High School filled up with individuals wanting to share their support for a potential presidential candidate. Results from Marshall County mirrored what happened across the state, Donald Trump was the runaway favorite. Trump earned 51% of the votes in Marshall County, 2nd and 3rd were Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley respectfully. DeSantis earned about 26.7% and Haley earned 13.3% of the votes. Across the state, similar results pour in. In Iowa Trump won by receiving about 50% of the votes cast, DeSantis received 21% and Haley received 19%.
