Marshall County Conservation announced at the end of 2023 that there are big upgrades coming to Green Castle Recreation Area. Fundraising efforts have been going on and a fun event is coming up on March 2nd. The Tree to Table Pancake Feed.
That is Emily Herring, Marshall County Conservation Director. Herring mentions that this is the 4th year they have done the Tree to Table event. All the syrup is coming from the trees out at Grammer Grove and participants will learn about the process.
People can get tickets ahead of time for a dollar cheaper by visiting Grimes Farm or calling out to Grimes Farm during business hours. The event will take place at Grimes Farm on March 2nd.
