Luke Combs’ song “Where the Wild Things Are” just hit #1 on the country charts. That makes it 18 straight number ones to start his career. Alabama still holds the record with 21 in a row from 1980 to 1987, but Luke’s definitely making a run at it.

A new movie version of Stephen King’s “Salem’s Lot” was filmed in 2021 . . . and it still hasn’t been released. And King wants to know why. He’s actually seen it, and he thinks it’s “quite good.” The culprit here is Warner Brothers. They’ve already shelved two major films that were completely finished . . . “Batgirl” and “Coyote vs. Acme” . . . and took tax write-offs. That could be what they’re doing here.

Jelly Roll wasn’t able to accept the award for Male Country Artist of the Year at the People’s Choice Awards because he was teaching kids how to sing at a juvenile detention center.

Lastly, remember Jussie Smollett? Well his conviction for allegedly staging a hate crime against himself has been overturned by the Illinois Supreme Court. They ruled that he shouldn't have been prosecuted after making a deal with the D.A.
