Farmers are worried about the dry weather we have had the last few years, but one person who is taking advantage of the nice weather is Marshall County Engineer, Paul Geilenfeldt. He says this February was the 2nd warmest February on record.
The warm dry weather has kept our gravel roads in better shape through winter. Geilenfeldt says there was no frost even in February.
The gravel roads being in good shape at this point of the year allows for Geilenfeldt and his team to focus on other projects. Geilenfeldt’s team will get a jump on a few paving projects this spring.
