This week, on Tuesday, is an important date for the County Budget.  Jarret Heil, former Marshall County Treasurer and current Marshall County Supervisor, joined the KFJB line last week to tell listeners what happens next with the budget.

Anyone is welcome to attend that meeting, it takes place at 8:30am on Tuesday at the Courthouse.  Heil mentions that he and the other supervisors met with each department head throughout this process.

Heil says any increase spending below growth is a positive thing.  That is extra spending without increasing the budget or tax levy.
