Kiwanis and Peterson Park both got some major upgrades started last year.  This was part of the Parks Master Plan to spruce up the different parks around Marshalltown.  Park and Recreation Director, Geoff Hubbard, stopped by to give some updates on where the parks are at.

Hubbard feels that most of those updates will be done by the Memorial Day weekend if not sooner.  He next mentions what upgrades happened to Peterson Park

Hubbard has been working on adding updates to multiple parks around town.  There will be more work coming to Riverview Park throughout this year as the City Council approved over $2 million of improvements.
