Tom Cruise seems to be quite the generous costar.  He gave Dakota Fanning her first cellphone, a Motorola Razr, for her birthday when they were filming “War of the Worlds” in 2005.  But the generosity didn’t end there.  Tom has sent her a birthday gift EVERY YEAR since, including her recent 30th.  He’s been known to send a coconut cake to prior co-star Kirsten Dunst for her birthday every year for the last 30 years since they worked on ‘Interview with a Vampire’.

There is a wedding band in Philadelphia named Jellyroll and they are currently suing Jelly Roll for copyright infringement.  The band’s been around since 1980 and they used to be easy to find on Google . . . but ever since Jelly came out, they got buried…They must be going after the pastry next….speaking of..if you’re keeping track, Jelly has lost 70 pounds since starting his better health regimen

The List for Monday, November 25th 2024

Welcome to The List,

Game show host Chuck Woolery died on Saturday at his home in Texas. . . . TMZ reports that he went to lie down because he wasn't feeling well.

Chuck was the original host of "Wheel of Fortune" back in the late '70s . . . he went on to host the "Scrabble" game show in the '80s . . . and of course "Love Connection" from 1983 to 1994.

He also did some later shows, like "Lingo" on the Game Show Network, and "Greed" on Fox.

There's no word on a cause of death, Chuck Woolery was 83…

-----

"Billboard" put out their list of the Top 100 Country Singers of All Time . . . and some folks are less than pleased.  Specifically, because Taylor Swift was ranked above Brooks & Dunn, Hank Williams Jr., and Toby Keith.  Also, Jason Aldean didn't even make the list at all..what’s THAT all about…..

-----

Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes is making around $50 million a year.  But now, his wallet will be 0.03% LIGHTER . . . thanks to FINGER GUNS.

The NFL has fined Patrick $14,069 for the "violent gesture" he made last week, while celebrating a touchdown.  He'd just scored on Buffalo, and Patrick used both hands to mimic firing dual pistols.

Let's be honest . . . he wouldn't have been fined for mimicking a bow and arrow . . . throwing knives . . . or dramatically acting out the extremely violent "finishing moves" from "Mortal Kombat".  (Although that would be amusing.)

-----

Chris Stapleton and Brooks & Dunn are now tied with the most CMA Awards in history.  They have 19 wins each.

The List for Friday, November 22nd 2024

Welcome to The List,

Luke Combs was shocked to hear "People" magazine named him the sexiest 34-year-old on the planet.  He told a reporter that when he heard they put him on a list, he thought it was for eating the "most cheeseburgers."

-----

Keith Urban was doing an interview for a recent edition of Variety magazine when he said he has two sides to his personality. "I’ve got a dutiful, responsible, reliable side. And I’ve got this animalistic, wild, reckless, irresponsible, What does this button do?' side.  I constantly have to keep them both in check to make sure one side isn't taking more control than it should."

-----

Jay Leno recently suffered a 60-foot fall down a hill at a hotel resulting in injuries to his eyes and face that were left bruised along with a broken wrist.  Which has led to wild internet conspiracies that Jay has a “gambling problem” and debt collectors were sending a message…

-----

Lastly, remember Jussie Smollett? Well his conviction for allegedly staging a hate crime against himself has been overturned by the Illinois Supreme Court.  They ruled that he shouldn't have been prosecuted after making a deal with the D.A.
