With the Marshalltown Community School finishing up this year on May 30th, Geoff Hubbard, Marshalltown Park and Recreation Director, says the pool will open on June 1st.
After this weekend the city will have trained 14 new lifeguards for this summer. Geoff and his team have been working hard at the Aquatic Center lately.
Driving by the Aquatic Center you can see the umbrellas have been put up and the facility slowly coming together for the summer.
