The List for Thursday, September 5th 2024

Welcome to The List,

Jimmy Fallon tells Parents magazine that he's planning to tape his mouth shut for better sleep. The idea is to force himself to breathe through his nose for a more restful night. Jimmy says, "I guess people that talk a lot breathe through their mouths. So, I'm going to have security guards next to my bed and try this — I'm not kidding!"  You can always get a CPAP machine…less likelihood of dying.

Jelly Roll became the first artist to perform at the Oregon State Penitentiary in 20 years. Jelly took a break from his Beautifully Broken Tour to visit inmates and sing songs. He shared his experience on Instagram, expressing the importance of bringing hope and love to those in dark places.

Here are some jobs that Country music stars had before they got famous:  Carrie Underwood was a gas station attendant . . . Kane Brown was a FedEx delivery driver . . . and Dierks Bentley drained the waste from houseboat bathroom tanks. Talk about a job that stinks!
