Schools out for summer!  Because of that, the Marshalltown YMCA has changed some of their hours.  The recreation pool will now be open more throughout the week.  Andrew Potter, Marketing Director with the YMCA, tells KFJB listeners the new hours.

The recreation pool at the Marshalltown YMCA will be open from 2 – 4 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The YMCA always has fun activities for youth going on, they offer a sports sampler camp during the summer as well.

Potter says this is a great opportunity for youth to try out different sports to see if they enjoy playing them.  He also reminds parents it is not a whole week long commitment, just 3 days.  Learn more about all the summer fun happening at the Marshalltown YMCA online at ymca-ywca.org
