Holiday Pack the Backpack: Mrs. Natasha Becker

Pack the Backpack, presented by Central Office Supply, a division of Minuteman and Kix 101.1! Each month during the school year, we will be awarding $101 to a Kix Country classroom to help out with supplies. We will award the prize on the last Wednesday of the month. You can listen to each new winner at 8:30a on the Morning Kix Start.

Our Holiday Edition of Pack the Backpack continues this week with our winner being Mrs. Natasha Becker, 3rd grade teacher at South Tama County School. She was nominated by a grandparent of a student. Here is what Janet wrote to Kix 101.1.:

I would like to nominate Natasha Becker for your $101 backpack. Natasha is my granddaughter’s 3rd grade teacher at South Tama County School in Tama IA. She is so enthusiastic, she sends Facebook messages and pictures to parents and grandparents almost daily. She includes information in English and Spanish. When you meet her, you can see and feel her enthusiasm for teaching. I am sure she could use your gift for her class, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she shared the things she might pick out with other teachers in South Tama Elementary – she is just that kind of individual.

Thank you.

Janet Busch
