Indy Car Driver Marco Andretti on the Morning Kix Start

Indy Car Driver Marco Andretti was on the Morning Kix Start Thursday to talk about the return of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES to the Iowa Speedway on July 17 and 18.

Racing action will be on on back- to-back nights under the lights in the Iowa INDYCAR 250s. The 250-lap races mark the second of three doubleheaders on the 2020 schedule and the only remaining series night races this season.

Marco Andretti is in his 15th season competing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. He has won two races and five pole positions in his INDYCAR career and he has earned 20 podium finishes.

Take a listen to the interview with Andretti on the Morning Kix Start with Brandon Lewis.

Iowa Speedway and INDYCAR will welcome a limited number of fans to the track for the race weekend. A number of health and safety measures will be in place for the weekend in order to meet and exceed Iowa state guidelines for COVID-19. The maximum number of fans expected at Iowa Speedway each night is about 5,000 people.

All existing ticketholders have had their seats reassigned for social distancing. A limited number of remaining tickets went on sale last Friday and a few seats do still remain with tickets starting at just $15 for Friday and $20 for Saturday.
