The ACM nominations were announced yesterday, and Hardy scored big, picking up seven nods.  Right behind him is Lainey Wilson with six.  Luke Combs, Kane Brown, and Cole Swindell have five apiece.  Morgan Wallen got his first ACM Entertainer of the Year nomination.   The ACMs are May 11th on Amazon Prime.  Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks are the hosts.

Tim McGraw is launching his own media company called Down Home.  It’ll be based in Nashville, and will produce movies, TV, and digital media.  The company will focus on “relatable stories about everyday Americans.”  He explained it even more on Facebook.  Quote, “There’s a real push for people to get back to togetherness and a sense of community.  That’s Down Home, and that’s what I want our company to be about.”

“Time” magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People of 2023 includes  Michael B. Jordan . . . Drew Barrymore,  Beyoncé . . . Patrick Mahomes . . . Elon Musk…Kid Rock and I didn’t make the list again this year…

Matthew McConaughey is hosting his first ever virtual live event…It’s called “The Art Of Livin” Monday April 24th and it’s about coming together to figure out who we WANT to be and creating a roadmap to get there as he calls it…“Look the last couple years, they’ve been wild haven’t they? Boston’s Berklee College of Music is going to be offering a Taylor Swift songwriting class next semester.  The class’ description reads; “Delving into the core of her songwriting, this course will explore and analyze her compositional and lyrical choices…if you’d like to Master in Taylor Swift…Berklee’s tuition is a mere 46,800/year…

Luke Combs is teaming up with Opry Entertainment Group to open “a massive bar and entertainment complex” in Nashville.  There’s no word on a name yet, but it’ll supposedly be inspired by his hit “Hurricane”.  The place is expected to open in the summer of 2024.

Did you catch Beyonce’s performance during half-time on Wednesday’s game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans? She performed a medley of songs off her album, “Cowboy Carter,” released earlier this year. Post Malone and Shaboozey, who are featured on “Cowboy Carter,” made special appearances during the Christmas Day performance.

Carly Pearce spent some time on tour with Tim McGraw earlier this year, and although she’s an avid runner and big into other fitness regimens like Orange Theory and spinning, one workout she has no plans to incorporate into her routine is Tim’s intense CrossFit training. “Yeah, I’m not gonna be a part of Tim McGraw’s workouts because quite frankly, I don’t think I could keep up. I did pull the tire up and I got it up, but he said that he will flip the tire the length of like a football field, y’all. And I’m just not going to do that. I will stick to running. If Tim McGraw wants to do a running challenge, let’s go.”

Some people may not know that one of Justin Moore’s favorite hobbies is cooking. He loves to try new recipes and often watches the Food Network for inspiration. We wondered if Justin has ever considered putting all those family recipes and his other favorites into a cookbook. “I would certainly be up for it. I’ve not ever thought about it, but I think it would be somethin’ that would be fun to do.”

The 42nd president is currency hospitalized after coming down with a fever that required medical attention. NBC News reports Bill Clinton is in a Washington, D.C. hospital on his own accord. An aide told the media outlet that Clinton,  who is 78, “Is in good spirits and grateful for the care he is receiving.  “The former president will be fine. “He developed a fever and wanted to be checked out. He is awake and alert.”

Luke Grimes said that the last season of "Yellowstone" was the easiest to film because Kevin Costner was gone.  When the paparazzi asked Kevin about it, he said, quote, "We're done talking." ..Meanwhile over the weekend we found out that not only is a Beth & Rip spin-off being discussed…so is a Casey & Monica spin-off as well.

TMZ says Denzel Washington recently received his minister's license after being baptized at a church in New York City. A source tells the outlet, "Denzel is now officially a man of God, recognized as a clergy member."

Luke Bryan talks about his favorite Christmas gift ... "My favorite Christmas gift is definitely my first Honda 50 motorcycle that I got back in 1984. It was just an amazing gift to have under the tree, and I never will forget seeing that as I walked out."

Jelly Roll tells Variety magazine that he hopes to continue to inspire people in 2025….and Cody Johnson has traded his guitar for an apron and a grill when on the road and not on stage…he says grilling make the whole thing that much more enjoyable.
