Reba McEntire is going to perform her song, ‘Somehow You Do’, At The Oscars … “The first time I got to sing on the Oscars, it was right after the plane crash. I sang ‘Checking Out Of This Heartbreak Hotel’ for Postcards From the Edge.. So, I’m very honored that Diane asked me to sing the song, and we are both so thrilled to get nominated.” The Plane crash she’s referring to was the March 1991 plane crash that claimed eight members of her band and crew. Her song, “Somehow You Do,” is nominated for ‘Best Original Song’ from the film, ”Four Days Gold”, at the 94th Academy Awards this Sunday 7 Central on ABC.

Tom Cruise is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A source says he’s going to make an appearance in Doctor Strange 2 as a Multiverse version of Tony Stark. Tom’s also working on another project for Marvel but it’s being kept under wraps. Most likely you’ll see him play Iron Man in another movie.

Glen Powell from “Twisters” and “Top Gun Maverick” fame, called in to a lookalike contest of him in his home town of Austin, Texas. And he gave the winner the opportunity to put their parents or any family member in his next movie. Glen’s mom Cyndy was even in the crowd to give her approval and called up Glen on FaceTime to share a message. The winner was a physician's assistant from Austin. In addition to Glen's prize, he also got $5 . . . a cowboy hat . . . and free queso from Torchy's for a year.

The Daily Star reports Diddy's plea for house arrest on his private island in Florida has been rejected by a New York City judge. Who saw that coming!!! Anyone? The rapper's legal team suggested he serve house arrest in his Manhattan apartment with added security. Diddy is facing charges of trafficking and other crimes, which he denies.
