Welcome to The List,
Johnny Depp signed a RECORD three-year, $20 million deal to continue to be the face of Dior’s Sauvage cologne. He first signed with them back in 2015. Johnny’s new deal is the largest of any men’s fragrance. A source familiar with the fragrance industry said the average amount for an A-list celebrity is $2 to $4 million a year. It’d be cool if he did the ads as Captain Jack Sparrow.

Chris Stapleton was being interviewed backstage after winning Entertainer of the Year on Thursday, and somebody asked where the trophy is going to live. I know where it WON’T be. His house. “Some of ‘em, we put ‘em out on the road in the VIP section for people to see, for the fans to see. That’s who they belong to. I don’t feel like they really belong to me. I don’t have ‘em in my house or anything like that. So, I don’t sit around in a shrine of myself or anything.” Friday, I shared a video of something ELSE Chris was doing after the show…He was helping clean up the venue after the awards show.

Even though “Fast X” was supposed to be the final movie in the series…Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has a surprise cameo in a post-credits scene. He’s made it VERY CLEAR that he’s not a fan of Vin Diesel, and he had no intention of returning to the “Fast & Furious” franchise. But he either lied, or he had a change of heart. There’s no official word yet, but that COULD mean that he’ll have a larger role in the franchise going forward.

If you’re old enough to remember the launch of MTV on August 1st, 1981 at 12:01 A.M., this will bring you right back: Somebody put the first two hours on YouTube. Everyone knows the first video they played was “Video Killed the Radio Star” by The Buggles. You’ll also see all the original VJs introduce themselves . . . plus the very first ad that ever aired, for a three-ring binder called The Bulk. It was followed by a commercial for “Superman 2”. If you want to take a step back in time…check it out here…

Blake Shelton received his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame over the weekend. He talks about putting the work in…“I hope I do represent hard work, and swinging for the fence. Being super lucky and being at the right place at the right time. But, trying something and putting the work in to go with it. That’s all I ever wanted.” Adding, he never expected to be standing on his own star on the walk of fame…and listening to Gwen’s speech felt like they were getting married again.

And finally, Entertainment Tonight says Keith Urban is planning to return to American Idol on May 21st as a guest mentor. He will also perform his hit, ”Wild Hearts”.

Welcome to The List,
Game show host Chuck Woolery died on Saturday at his home in Texas. . . . TMZ reports that he went to lie down because he wasn't feeling well.
Chuck was the original host of "Wheel of Fortune" back in the late '70s . . . he went on to host the "Scrabble" game show in the '80s . . . and of course "Love Connection" from 1983 to 1994.
He also did some later shows, like "Lingo" on the Game Show Network, and "Greed" on Fox.
There's no word on a cause of death, Chuck Woolery was 83…

"Billboard" put out their list of the Top 100 Country Singers of All Time . . . and some folks are less than pleased. Specifically, because Taylor Swift was ranked above Brooks & Dunn, Hank Williams Jr., and Toby Keith. Also, Jason Aldean didn't even make the list at all..what’s THAT all about…..
-----
Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes is making around $50 million a year. But now, his wallet will be 0.03% LIGHTER . . . thanks to FINGER GUNS.
The NFL has fined Patrick $14,069 for the "violent gesture" he made last week, while celebrating a touchdown. He'd just scored on Buffalo, and Patrick used both hands to mimic firing dual pistols.
Let's be honest . . . he wouldn't have been fined for mimicking a bow and arrow . . . throwing knives . . . or dramatically acting out the extremely violent "finishing moves" from "Mortal Kombat". (Although that would be amusing.)

Chris Stapleton and Brooks & Dunn are now tied with the most CMA Awards in history. They have 19 wins each.
You can catch The List, weekdays at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
