The Business Times says Carrie Underwood was offered a judging role on “American Idol” because Miley Cyrus was deemed too expensive. A network insider claims Miley’s salary demands were out of reach due to the show’s declining ratings. Carrie allegedly accepted $12 million for the job. Miley reportedly wanted $25 million. People out here, trying to get $15/hour at McDonalds….

Brantley Gilbert stopped his show in Mississippi on Friday when his wife went into LABOR on his TOUR BUS. Then he came back out an hour later . . . announced he had a new son . . . and FINISHED HIS SET. They have three kids now. He said his wife told him he better “go get [his butt] to work.”

Jamey Johnson was charged with speeding and one felony count of a controlled substance. He was caught with somewhere between a half an ounce and 10 pounds of pot. That’s kinda like getting a speeding ticket and saying your speed was between 55 and 100 mph!! In the state of Tennessee, that is a class E felony, punishable by up to SIX years in prison.

The CMA Awards air tonight on ABC…Cody Johnson’s album ‘Leather’ is up for Album of the Year, along with Chris Stapleton for ‘Higher’ and Kacey Musgraves for ‘Deeper Well’..Luke Comes is one of the nominees for Entertainer of the Year…... "Oh, yeah. It’s great. I mean, any time is is unbelievable. You know, I think it’s every time it’s really hard to believe, honestly. I didn’t ever think that I would get this far, so, I’m just really thankful for it is all. Being nominated again for entertainer of the year is incredible." The CMA Awards air tonight on ABC.
