The List for Monday, October 30th 2023

Welcome to The List,

I can’t imagine you haven’t heard this by now, but Matthew Perry died Saturday morning.  He was only 54.  Details are sketchy, but here’s what we know: Matthew returned home from a two-hour round of pickleball and sent his assistant on an errand.  When the assistant returned two hours later, he found Matthew in a hot tub.  911 was called, It SOUNDS like cardiac arrest and / or drowning was the cause of death.  TMZ says no illegal drugs were found on the scene. His last credit was the 2017 miniseries, “The Kennedys After Camelot”. As of last night, none of the other five main “Friends” cast members had commented on his death. Although I’m sure by now that’s changed…

Justin Moore displayed a little more of his “self” than planned at his show in Estero, Florida on Friday.  He split his pants while covering Waylon Jennings’ “Theme from The Dukes of Hazzard (Good Ol’ Boys)”. There are a couple of videos making the rounds, and the split happens when he decides to bend down and slap the stage.  Why would he do that? What did it do to offend the man? Who knows….He immediately realizes what had happened. He left the stage to change them and brought the old ones out to show what had happened…THIS is why we never go on stage with REALLY tight pants…

Jason Aldean wrapped up his tour in Tampa on Saturday . . . and he surprised the crowd by bringing out a random special guest:  70-year-old Hulk Hogan. Hulk hyped up the crowd for a minute or so, and then as he walked off stage, Jason called him “the GOAT.”   (Here’s UNCENSORED video.  Hulk didn’t drop any profanity, but there’s a lot of crowd noise.  Hulk also posted photos from backstage with Jason, along with their wives.)

The NY Post says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former residence, Windsor Castle, is reportedly haunted by the ghosts of King Henry VIII, George III, Elizabeth I, and the Queen Mother.  Queen Elizabeth II’s sister, Princess Margaret, saw ghosts in the castle. Other haunted royal residences in the UK include Buckingham Palace, Balmoral Castle, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, Frogmore Cottage, Sandringham House, and St. James’s Palace….wow, that’s a tea party…happy Halloween…

—–

Richard Moll, the fun-loving actor who portrayed the towering and tenderhearted bailiff Aristotle Nostradamus “Bull” Shannon on all nine seasons of the popular NBC sitcom Night Court, Moll died peacefully Thursday at his home in Big Bear Lake, California, his publicist announced He was 80.

Even though it’s also on Peacock, “Five Nights at Freddy’s” made $78 million in its opening weekend “Terrifier 3” is in the works . . . and it’ll be a Christmas movie. “The Black Phone 2” is in the works and set for release on June 27th, 2025.
