Carly Pearce is nominated for the ACM Female Artist of the Year Award…and she talks about her feelings on it. “I think about the dreams that I’ve had of being nominated in this category. I think as a woman in country music, if you grew up the way that I did, wanting this so badly, you dreamt of your name being called in that. And so I truly am not just saying this. Kyra Sedgwick says her husband Kevin Bacon is so handy around the house..so, why not ask him to help with a bikini wax… “There was a moment were I thought, I can’t pull the strip off, neither one of us could figure out how to pull it off do we need to go to the hospital. I didn’t have to luckily, just the 1..2..3..and hope for the best.” If it involves a car, boat, the lawn or hammering a nail…were fine ladies…but nothing to do with hot wax please.
On Monday night’s episode of American Idol, viewers were shocked to learn that Wyatt Pike dropped out of the competition after making it into the Top 16. Host Ryan Seacrest announced the news on the broadcast, but he did not reveal any details about Pike’s sudden departure. As Deadline noted, Pike has since spoken out about the reason behind his American Idol exit on his Instagram saying only that he left for “personal reasons”

Authorities have determined that Gene Hackman's wife Betsy died first, of hantavirus . . . which comes from infected rodents. Gene, who had advanced Alzheimer's, died about a week later of severe cardiovascular disease.

The city of Philadelphia is naming a street after Will Smith. The Philadelphia City Council passed a resolution for the change on the 2000 block of North 56th Street. North 56th is being renamed ‘’Will Smith Way’’ for Smith's entertainment achievements, charity work…
