Welcome to The List,
Jerry Springer, one of the most influential and controversial figures in TV history, has died … TMZ has confirmed. Jerry hosted the smash hit syndicated talk show “The Jerry Springer Show” for 27 years … and it was never a boring moment on the raucous and wild show — which was known for its outrageous guests who usually got into crazy fights as the audience cheered, “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!” A family spokesperson says Jerry was battling a “brief illness.” Our sources tell us it was pancreatic cancer that was diagnosed a few months ago, and this week he took a turn for the worse. The spokesperson says he died Thursday morning, peacefully at his home in the Chicago area. Jerry Springer was 79.

The internet has found plenty to criticize with these Disney live-action remakes. But one of the most common gripes is that the CGI-created animal characters look TOO REAL. Disney released official photos of Ariel’s friends Flounder, Sebastian the crab, and Scuttle the seagull. And they don’t look cute or relatable . . . just kind of unsettling. Check out the pics here.

One place you will never see Kenny Chesney perform is the Superbowl Halftime show…He says if he ever has a chance to perform at the Super Bowl, he might say NO, because it seems like the “kiss of death.” It might be good for his career, but everyone who does it gets a lot of hate too. So, all things being equal, he’d rather have a beer and watch the game with his dad.

If Scotty McCreery comes off as a down home, respectful southern man who just LOVES southern food…you’d be right…He tells Music Mayhem magazine that he’s a big fan! He loves his fried chicken, green beans, all of those things. Cracker Barrel is his restaurant of choice. He recently just found out about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with Cap’n Crunch in the middle. It’s great!”
